So the secret is clearly out that I love Disney World and that I love eating.  Disney Food Blog has a whole host of good posts about the subject:

  • Tables in Wonderland Dining Events – This card is well worth it and while I’ve never done any of the events I’m sure they’re great.  These look particularly interesting.
  • 2010 California Food and Wine Festival – I’ve done Epcot’s version many times and I love it.  The California version doesn’t seen to get the same hype, but it lasts quite a long time and seems like a great opportunity.
  • Disney Valentine’s Day Options – Who wouldn’t want to do Disney for Valentines.  Such a great environment it would be hard for it not to be a hit with your dining partner.
  • Tables in Wonderland at Jiko – One of the dining options mentioned above.  I love this site, but I wish the pictures were bigger.  Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite places to stay.  It’s amazing.  Be sure to check out all the pictures of it.

There’s my Disney food link jumble for today.  There was just too much news to ignore.

So I’m again shocked by how many people are so snobby about WDW.  Disney World is a punchline for a lot of people who’ve never been who think they’re too cultured, smart, old, whatever for the place and it’s kind of irritating.  Consequently I’m going to point you in the direction of a couple of things you should know about.  First this Disney World for Adults article can help those who might be risking the judgemental eyes of those around them and considering visiting the parks.  Secondly a particular event that’s fabulous for adults is the Epcot Food and Wine Festival in the fall.  Check them out and don’t let your snobby friends influence you.
